Local Bar has been a North Carolina landmark since the building originally opened as a gas station in the 1930’s on a small country road in Apex. Over the years the gas pumps turned to beer taps, the small country road into US 64 and what had been The Little Bar for most of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s became Local Bar. We are still a place where locals gather for good times, cold drinks and live music. So stop by ’cause here everyone’s a local.

Awesome bar. Plenty of tasty beverages to choose from. Delicious food served quickly. Great wings and killer service! Great atmosphere. The employees are very friendly. Would recommend. Check them out on Facebook to learn about their themed nights. (Karaoke, trivia, etc). When you’re looking for a laid back spot that isn’t too full of itself and has great food and drinks at very fair prices – you should give this place a try!
